Lower Kalimna Falls
Lower Kalimna Falls is located close to Lorne, about a 45min drive from Forrest Guesthouse. The falls are unique as the water falls over a large cave into a pool below. Even better is that you can walk around behind the falls themselves for a very different angle than most falls allow!
The walk commences from the Sheoak Picnic Area.
The walk is approximately 7.5km long, as a return trip. The path can be muddy after rain but otherwise the trail is well signed and maintained. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the walk and spend some time at the falls.
There is also Upper Kalimna Falls which is another couple of km further on from Lower Kalimna Falls walk. There are also other falls nearby:
