Stay at Forrest Guesthouse.
The Guesthouse has four guest suites along a north facing verandah overlooking our rambling garden. Each guest room is individually styled, reflecting the unique attractions of the area. Enjoy a romantic getaway and a comfy bed after a strenuous day exploring the myriad of bike trails and picturesque parks in the Forrest area.
Your breakfast will be a selection of cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, juice, milk, tea and coffee supplies, and pastries (subject to availablity) provided in your room for you to eat/cook at your leisure. Bread can be provided on request. There is a small portable induction cooktop for cooking, plus a mini toaster oven for warming up pastries, a toaster and a kettle. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.
There is also a guest BBQ out in the garden available to give you another option for dinner. Fire restrictions may apply at certain times of year.
The Forrest, Barwon and Otway Suites can be made up as twin singles instead of King Beds if you prefer.
The sofas in Barwon and Otway can also be converted into two full size single beds, one raised and one as a trundle. These two suites can therefore sleep 4 people.
Simply let us know what you need when you book.
Thanks Michelle and family for a lovely stay. It is kid and MTB friendly, We came for a family get away, the kids loved feeding the birds and playing in the spacious garden. The rooms are very nice and clean and the generous breakfast was also enough for lunch! Looking forward to our next visit!
What a beautiful little place. Clean comfortable accommodation (beds are great), right in the heart of the little historical town, with a maze of mountain biking tracks covering all abilities and fitness. Very friendly hosts and the breakfast supplies are great. Eat your breakfast out on the veranda and take in the sights of the beautiful gardens. There is even a bike washing station to take care of your bike. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

We had one night in this cosy, tastefully decorated retreat and loved it. There’s no TV which was such a welcome change and enabled a good digital detox, actual conversations and much book reading. The staples provided ensured a tasty breakfast too which was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Michelle's place was amazing! It was perfect for a little getaway - the space was super cosy, the kitchen was great as we could cook a proper meal and the garden was really lovely too. Michelle was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We'd definitely love to come stay again!

I brought my aunty and uncle here while there were visting from Ireland. Michelle could not have done more for us, she went above and beyond to make us feel so so welcome. She took us to see waterfalls, which we absolutely loved. (Our car could not have handled the terrain en route!!) The rooms are beautiful, the garden, the general store across the road had delicious coffee and snacks. Thanks Michelle!

Very happy I got up early this moring and found this beautiful walk along West Barwon Lake. Also cannot recommend Forrest (especially @forrestguesthouse and @forrestbrewery) enough if you're looking for somewhere peaceful yet beautiful to head for the weekend.

The accommodation was great, location was even better. A stones throw from the local brewery - highly recommend for dinner. Breakfast was a beautiful touch. Also heaps of handy information on what to do in Forrest in a booklet on the bedside table. Great relaxing weekend. Really enjoyed the stay.
